History

LFC Capital was formed in 1994 to manage The LINC Group’s healthcare leasing portfolio in connection with the acquisition of LINC Healthcare Leasing by Anthem Insurance, a major Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider. Founded in 1975, LINC grew to become one of the largest leasing companies in healthcare. Today, LFC Capital is managed by a team of experienced professionals, many of whom worked together at LINC and its successor companies.

In 2002, LFC Capital acquired the assets and management of MFP Medical to create LFC Equipment, which specializes in refurbishing CT and MR scanners. This capability allows LFC to deliver late-model, high-performance diagnostic imaging equipment at substantial savings, and to provide equipment remarketing services to clients who wish to profitably dispose of medical equipment they no longer need.

LFC Capital, with headquarters in Chicago, provides a full spectrum of equipment financing services to healthcare providers, service companies and manufacturers, including rentals and customized programs.
